1984

It starts its journey in 1984 by its founder Mr. Carlos Cabrera Cervera, dedicating himself from the beginning to the exclusive manufacture of red body ceramic tiles.

1991

It starts the manufacturing of red body wall tiles in different formats

1995

It starts the new red body ceramic plant in different sizes. CERACASA receives the EXPORT excellence award granted by the Castellón Chamber of Commerce for the best export trajectory of the year

1997

It starts the new red body ceramic plant in different sizes. CERACASA receives the EXPORT excellence award granted by the Castellón Chamber of Commerce for the best export trajectory of the year

1998

Introduces the first large size wall tile in the market with 40x80 cms

2000

It starts manufacturing porcelain and white body ceramic tiles in different sizes

2001

It starts manufacturing coloured body porcelain

2002

Installation of new lines for polishing, grinding and beveling of porcelain

2004

It was again certified with this award for environmental protection, which confirms that CERACASA makes a sustainable industry its objective and company philosophy

2006

It starts developing products and project customization using Inkjet (CMYK). Creates EMOTILE by CERACASA introducing worldwide a unique type of products

2007

CERACASA is awarded in Cevisama with the ALFA DE ORO for the EMOTILE project, an award granted by the SECV and Feria Valencia to the most innovative product. Creates a network of EMOTILE service points throughout Spain aimed at specifiers

2008

Recognition by architects, interior designers and distributors of the product range. First company worldwide that customizes porcelain for any project or need. Launch of the first large polished glazed porcelain size 48 × 97 cms.

2009

CERACASA is awarded in Cevisama with the ALFA DE ORO for the BIONICTILE project, an award granted by Cevisama and the Spanish Ceramics and Glass Society, to the most innovative product.

2010

CERACASA has been awarded with one of the prestigious awards given by the magazine “ECONOMIA 3”. The award in question has been awarded to the continuous innovation work carried out by the L´Alcora company.

2011

Ceracasa receives once again the ALFA award for the ECOM4TILE product. Prize awarded by the Spanish Ceramics and Glass Society and the Cevisama fair to the most innovative ceramic product. On this occasion, the SILVER ALFA is already the third award (2007, 2009 and 2011) of this type that the company receives in less than five years.

2012

The spanish association of scientists (aec), one of the most prestigious research institutions, awards CERACASA for its outstanding trajectory in innovation.

2015

Winners of the 9th edition of the NAN Architecture and Construction Awards held at El Esferic in Barcelona, with the Ecom4Tile product.

2017

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PLATFORM: DOCUMENTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, CONTENTS AND PROCESSES.

CERACASA, through the DIGITALIZA CV Program, has obtained financial support from IVACE, for a total amount of € 5,678, for the development of a digitization project focused on avoiding the generation of unnecessary copies and prints, in order to achieve a significant reduction in both economic and environmental costs, while ensuring better control and security in document management processes.

INTERNATIONALIZATION PLAN 2017
CERACASA obtains support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the execution of its Internationalization Plan.

2018

REDUCTION OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY RECOVERING RESIDUAL HEAT IN THE KILN.

CERACASA, through the SAVINGS AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN THE INDUSTRY IN12 program, has obtained financial support from IVACE, for a total amount of € 15,331, for the implementation of a residual heat recovering system from the kiln with the aim of reducing the energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

The ceramic industry is an intensively consuming natural gas industry, most of which occurs during the firing cycle. With the execution of this project, we managed to take advantage of part of the heat emitted during this stage to increase combustion efficiency and thereby guarantee savings in natural gas consumption and the reduction of these emissions.

2020

The company CERACASA, S.A. It has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to promote technological development, innovation and quality research, and thanks to which it has implemented the ODOO CRM solution to improve the commercial management of its clients. This action took place in 2020. For this it has had the support of the TICCámaras program of the Castellón Chamber of Commerce and co-financed by the Castellón Provincial Council

La empresa CERACASA, S.A. ha sido beneficiaria del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional cuyo objetivo es mejorar el uso y la calidad de las tecnologías de la información y de las comunicaciones y el acceso a las mismas y gracias al que ha llevado a cabo una auditoría de seguridad y
hacking-ético
para conocer las posibles vulnerabilidades y el grado de protección frente a posibles ataques de sus sistemas de información. Esta acción ha tenido lugar en 2021. Para ello ha contado con el apoyo del programa Ciberseguridad de la Cámara de Comercio de Castellón y cofinanciado por la Excma. Diputación de Castellón.

Ceracasa is a pioneer in the manufacture and commercialization of high quality porcelain and ceramic floor and wall tiles. It began its journey in 1984 by its founder Mr. Carlos Cabrera Cervera, dedicating himself from the beginning to the exclusive manufacture of red body ceramic tiles.

In 1991, taking a qualitative leap, incorporates the production of red body wall tiles and takes its current structure and brand, CERACASA S.A., therefore establishing the principles of growth of the current project.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

As of today, Mr. Carlos Cabrera Ahís is still the Administrator of the company. In successive years CERACASA has added to its range of products, flooring and wall tiles in different formats, as well as special pieces and different finishes.
