XS-TILE, WHEN LESS IS MORE.

Ceracasa introduces one of the most significant product innovations of recent years. The tile body is reduced to half of the thickness ( the 11 mm goes to 6 mm in the size 49.1x98.2), bringing big advantages through the whole process and to the end user but keeping the same technical characteristics.

 

Since its creation, XS-Tile uses less raw materials and energy in its production, attaining less incidence and reducing the carbon footprint of the product. Allowing more square metres to be carried in the same volume.

The prize winning and acclaimed ceramic product BIONICTILE by CERACASA is introduced at the italian fair of Cersaie being one of the most distinguished eco-efficients proposals on the international scene.

 

 

 

The value it brings to reducing the environmental impact by decontaminating the air in urban and city centres with a photo-catalyst glaze is one of the reasons that it has been the major innovation of this year.

Ceracasa presents BIONICTILE in four colours, all of them studied to harmonize in cities with the most avant-garde architecture, and two sizes (49.1x98.2 y 30x63.2 cms) that make possible their use in draughty-facades, independtly or mixed.

One square metre of BIONICTILE will decontaminate 94,60 mg of NOx per hour.

200 buildings clad with BIONICTILE (4800 sqm/building, equateing to 7.35 hours of sunshine per day) would remove nearly 218 tons of NOx pollutants from cars and other transport in one year.

 

These 200 buildings are equivalent to a forest with 11,3 milion trees, or 435 times the number of trees in Central Park, New York.

All of this can be noticed at the stand of the firm by watching a video and some pieces which show the chances of the developed product with the Valencia ´s Politechnic University ITQ CSIC.
