»BIONICTILE IS AWARDED RUNNER UP IN "THE WALL STREET JOURNAL" AWARDS.

 
 
BIONICTILE BY CERACASA HAS BEEN AWARDED ANNOUNCED RUNNER UP IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS OF AMERICAN NEWSPAPER "THE WALL STREET JOURNAL"

"The Wall Street Journal, top U.S. newspaper (daily circulation of 2,092,523), with editions in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa, has awarded prizes for the 10th International Technological Innovation Edition, where Ceracasa and FMC Foret have been awarded the second prize in the Environment catagory with the product BIONICTILE.

600 companies institutions and organizations, participated in this event, from 30 countries including such renowned names as: USA Health and Human Services Department, Abbott Laboratories, Dupont Qualicon, Microsoft, Taiwan Technology Research Institute, Switzerland STM Microelectronics, Panasonic Avionic , Motorola and many more.

The jury for review and grant awards are based on three fundamental points:
-That the innovative product breaks with the ideas and with the conventional processes in the sector.
-To go Beyond the progress that currently exists.
-And to have a great impact on future technology.

 
BIONICTILE is a ceramic tile for façades containing titanium dioxide and other reagents. The resulting surface has photocatalytic properties and decontaminates the air in cities of harmful elements such as nitrogen oxides NOx. The CEAM Foundation has recently confirmed that it also reduced by up to 72% the HNO3 component, responsible for acid rain.


The awards ceremony will take place on October the 14th in Copenhagen for the European winners, and will coincide with the International Conference on Innovation "Innovation Exchange."

Also, on the 3rd and 4th November they will be given their international award in California (Redwood City, Silicon Valley), this ceremony will also coincide with a conference organized by Dow Jones "Venture Wire FASTech" which will feature technology columnist Mr. Walt Mossberg.

This is the 7 th award received by CERACASA, for the Ceramic product BIONICTILE in less than two years, which confirms the commitment to innovation of new products by the Spanish manufacturer of ceramics.
