THE ELISAVA SCHOOL VISITS THE CERACASA PLANT

During the “CERMAICS AND INTERIOR DESIGN” open days organised by ASCER, a hand-picked Group of 25 promising students visited the CERACASA plant. This group was made up of future designers and architects from the prestigious ELISAVA design school.

ELISAVA is a renowned centre. Founded in 1961, it’s the most important Design School in Spain. The centre has a strong commitment to innovative research, flexible, creative and multi-disciplinary training and is oriented towards the world of work. For these reasons it collaborates with companies, institutions and universities on a local, national and international level.

CERACASA prepared the visit and presentation of products including:

  • - A visit to the porcelain production installations..
  • - A presentation on trends and ground breaking products.

  • - A showroom demonstration of the newest developments in ceramics
  • - General question and answer session

For more than three hours the future professionals, of varied nationalities, were able to experience up close the latest applied technology for ceramics; new ideas which pleasingly surprised the visitors, leading them to ask numerous interesting questions throughout the tour.

The wide range of ceramic solutions, sizes and colours, accompanied by the possibility of personalising projects with EMOTILE, decontamination through BIONICTITLE, where commitment to the environment  excited and motivated the group; or the innovative systems to create surroundings managed to give an extraordinary image of CERACASA and the ceramics sector
